ROLLERCOASTER
CHILDREN'S BOOK

This project gave me a word and a definition. I was to create a children's book that would present them in a fun way what would captivate the attention of the user. My word was rollercoaster and the concept I was supposed to depict was how chaotic the ride is. The ups, downs, and 360's of the experience while simultaneously giving the definition of what a rollercoaster is. I wanted to push the shape of the small booklet without it being overly complex. I opted for hiding and completing images with a simple circular hole that went inside of a spiral all the way through the book. I decided to use a hand drawn approach in order to give the book a more childish look.
